I've finished a pair of slippers for myself, started them at tea time and am now wearing them, the pattern can be found here, you have to be registered to get the pattern but it's free to do so. I used four different pink coloured DK yarns for them, they are keeping my feet very cosy :-) Once again, sorry for the poor quality of the pictures I really must invest in a new camera.

The slipper picture.
These are the slippers I crochet, did them both the same just different sizes.
I followed the pattern from here:

Sue's look much better than mine but apart from a very small granny square this is the first time I've crocheted anything, so they didn't turn out too bad.
I think if I make more than I'll use a more substantial yarn to give a firmer feel.

First ever post
Well, thank goodness Christmas is over. I spent Christmas eve cutting out and sewing together the Jacket I wanted to make for my mum, finally got it done at gone six in the morning.
I also made my dad and father-in-law crochet slippers using this pattern here:
