This is the scarf I made to go with the Drops hat. I didn't follow a pattern just made it up as I went along.
Youngest likes both items (fell asleep in the hat on New Year LOL)

- The first time I tried knitting I was pregnant with my eldest daughter, so it would have been early 1992. It was supposed to be a little cardigan for her but ended up looking more like a doily with the amount of stitches I dropped. I took the hobby up again a couple of years ago and things have much improved, the things I knit are wearable now. I just learned to crochet a few days ago, made a granny square very pleased with myself. I’m knitting my Gran a bed jacket at the moment as soon as I’ve finished that I’m going to see if I can do something entirely in crochet.
